A Neighbor Saved By an Off-duty Firefighter

On 1st Feb 2018, a neighbor whose clothes had caught fire was saved by an off-duty firefighter.

According to the Washington report, Danny Atlas woke up and jumped into action on listening to a woman's scream.

According to Atlas, the elderly neighbor was trying to extinguish women’s cloth water spigot he helped her roll to smother the flames and later gave her first aid and transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Atlas realized that her house was also on fire, he grabbed his fire extinguisher and the fire from inside the home. He has saved other houses from burning by his quick response.
He said, we never want bad things to happen but we want to be close by when they're happening as it’s kind of an odd profession.
