2 Fires Rage in Queens Homes Overnight

Recent fire incidents took place in Queens, which is one of the five boroughs of New York. As reported by officials, two massive fires raged in Queens overnight, both injuring several firefighters and some civilians.
Two 9-year-old cousins were stuck inside their home on 71st Street when a fire broke out on the second floor, believed to have started from a candle in a shrine inside a closet, in Jackson Heights according to officials.
Firefighters along with their Fire Safety and Fire Protection Equipment, struggled hard to rush in to save the girls. As of now, they are out of danger, "they are doing fine and stable", informed their relatives. "Our hearts go out to the families because it was a tough night," said FDNY Lt. Kevin O'Hare. The blaze was such a savage that four other firefighters got injured, though they suffered minor injuries.
