Two firefighters struck while helping a victim


On Saturday, while helping crash victims on scene, two firefighters struck.

According to Captain Ignatius Carrol, firefighters of Miami Fire-Rescue were evacuating a driver who had been in a crash when a Toyota SUV struck them.

Firefighters were immediately aided by their co-workers, they found five people inside the Toyota with serious injuries. All five injured persons along with the two firefighters were transported to Ryder Trauma Centre.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt.Alex Camacho, one firefighter has been released from the hospital and another one is in stable condition.
