Due to the use of a weed
whacker to clear brush, a man involuntarily invited an enormous fire Tuesday afternoon in an upscale hillside
neighborhood on the city’s Westside, offering a stark reminder of the region’s
fire-prone landscape.
On an approximate basis, 86
homes’ dwellers were instructed to move away with their important belongings for
seeking shelter elsewhere.
A large group of firefighters
swarmed the narrow, winding streets to mount an aggressive attack.
By closing of the day, the
dislodged residents returned to their home as the fire was 25% contained. Crews
were expected to stay on the scene stamping out hot spots through the night along
with the necessary safety products.
