Both of them were referred to Harborview Medical Center with minor injuries after fighting a residential fire in the 1500 block of South Pearl Street Monday morning, reported the fire officials reported.

A strong fire fighting system is one that trains its employees to serve the best even if that stakes their life.

Crews extinguished the fire, which started in the basement of the home around 9 a.m., officials said.

The occupants of the home were able to get out safely, officials reported. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire could not be detected, hence it is under investigation.
