A Jackson firefighter got injured overnight trying to extinguish a house fire. Later he was sent to a hospital in intensive care, as intimated by authorities. The family members said that a woman and her daughter got out of the house safely.
Until then the firefighter was reported in a stable condition by the authority.
"The Jackson Fire Department solicits prayers of the entire community for our injured firefighter and his family," Division Chief Cleotha Sanders said.
