Firefighting engine assists with California wildfires

Two firefighters from the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands are on their way to help fight a wildfire in northern California. They carried firefighting engine along with numerous extinguishers.

The vehicle can deliver as much as 50 gallons of water per minute. It also can deliver water to areas difficult to access by larger firefighting equipment.

The firefighters and engine are scheduled to arrive in California on Monday to assist with the Mendocino Complex fire. Recorded in the California history, the fires consist of the largest wildland fire incident.
