Tallahassee Home Badly Damaged in Fire

The house is owned by Brian Lee, the elected supervisor of the Leon Soil & Water Conservation District 4, and Kim Ross, executive director of ReThink Energy Florida. They were on vacation out of town at the time of the fire.
The Tallahassee Fire Department responded after getting a call around 10:40 p.m. Firefighters confirmed no one was in the single-story house before extinguishing the fire.
Around 5 a.m. Monday, another call came in that the house was ablaze again. Firefighters arrived and found heavy smoke and fire. Crews went in with hand lines and put out all hot spots, said Sarah Cooksey, a TFD spokeswoman.
