On Monday
in Lawrenceburg, a firefighter named Jason Dickey died. He was trapped in
a burning house.
According
to the Tennessean report, Jason Dickey, the Lawrenceburg Fire Department
firefighter was battling a house fire when part of the house collapsed.
Two other
firefighters became trapped in the home while extinguishing fire using fire fighting system and a Mayday call was made after
Dickey.
Tennessee
Fire and Codes Enforcement Agency said, “Our prayers are going out to the
Lawrence Fire Dept. family and to the family of Jason Dickey for the tragic
loss of our brother,” and for the two firefighters injured.
The
incident is under investigation.
