Women burnt badly In Apartment Fire



On Wednesday, February 7, 2018,  fire erupted around the woman when she was smoking while using oxygen and spread through six residences of her Hurst apartment building, she got severely injured- said fire officials.

The fire was reported at the Hidden Oaks Apartment around 1:50 p.m. on the block of Harman, near Harmon and Hurst Boulevard.

According to Hurst fire officials, after being burnt over 40 percent, the 72-year woman was moved to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

There was one more injured person who suffered minor burns on her leg and hands while blowing out the fire on her roommate in the same apartment.

The fire spread through six of the residences in the two-story building, displacing 10 people and injuring another.

Red Cross was giving assistance to the families displaced by fire and Hurst officials were helping in restoring electricity and gas services to the building.
